Project CARE: Community Awareness and Response Education: 1-2 hours

Like the student-focused Project SAFE workshops, this one starts by covering the dynamics of sexual violence and how it happens on college campuses. Participants will engage in a conversation about campus culture and the myths and facts of sexual violence, and will learn practical strategies they can use to support students through discussion and role-plays.

You may also find more of our offered workshops here.

Teamwork and Problem-Solving

Sometimes we need to put our heads together and get creative - maybe a group of students approached you with an idea for a program, or you want to start a discussion in your class about the climate on campus. Rice supports student and staff efforts to openly discuss sexual and relationship violence and engage in creative prevention efforts. The staff of The SAFE Office are available to speak with you or your students over the phone or in-person to provide support, feedback, or to problem-solve.
